From Prenzlauer Berg to Mitte

A bike-eyed tour through the middle of Berlin, starting at Senefelder Platz and continuing down to Alexanderplatz. One of my favorite things to do is to bicycle through the city with my mp3 player. Watch the video and it's almost like being there yourself!

Palast der Republik

The former East German Parliament building (Palast der Republik) on the site of the Berliner Schloß. In the 50s the East Germans tore down the ruins of the palace and replaced it with their parliament building. Now in ruins, it has been used for art exhibitions, theater, entertainment, and even sporting events. Lately, there has been an exhibition inside called "Fraktale." Let's take a look inside and see what has become of this leftover GDR instititution.

Ludwig Erhard Haus
