Palast der Republik
The former East German Parliament building (Palast der Republik) on the site of the Berliner Schloß. In the 50s the East Germans tore down the ruins of the palace and replaced it with their parliament building. Now in ruins, it has been used for art exhibitions, theater, entertainment, and even sporting events. Lately, there has been an exhibition inside called "Fraktale." Let's take a look inside and see what has become of this leftover GDR instititution.

Ludwig Erhard Haus
A look in the inner sanctum of the Berlin Stock Exchange, at least from an architectural point of view. Tom, our tour guide extraodinaire, guides us through this modern building in downtown West Berlin.

A day at Liepnitzsee
On truly the last day of summer here in Berlin, I took a row boat out to the island in the middle of Liepnitzsee and got a panorama of the beautiful nature. And a couple of ducks...
