A night out at the infamous SO36 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The name SO36 comes from the old postal code for the east part of Kreuzberg and is a symbol for the this part of town. We went to listen to Soundhack, one of the Berlin's best DJs.
Why would a Californian move to Berlin?

I just discovered that there's a row boat rental in Treptower Park, so we took a row boat for a spin on the Spree and got some great views.

"Weeks of research for my trip to Berlin were easily bested by Mayda3000's Vlog. Hands-down the most valuable guide to Berlin that I've found. His wonderful sense of history and of humour brought Berlin alive in a way that it deserves."

"But my current favourite is Mayda 3000's Berlin vlogs on what Berlin does best - be cooler than you. Mayda covers all sorts of avant-garde stuff; his coverage of his home neighbourhood of Kreuzberg ranges from art openings through gay pride to a night out at the "infamous" S036 club."
Below are my photos posted on Flickr. Click on the photo to stop the slideshow and see the full image.

Below is a map of Berlin with the location of the vlogs. If you click on any of the markers, a pop-up window will show you the video. Have a little patience for the load times. You can navigate by dragging the cursor around.
